R. King works in a variety of mediums

including conte, graphite, charcoal, pastel, oil 

and clay.  Having previously worked as a designer

at The Scotsman Magazine, she has produced

past commissions in design and illustration for a

wide variety of clients, companies and 

campaigns, including British Gas Scotland,

Clydesdale Bank, BBC Scotland,

Hallmark, Zero Tolerance [Respect] Campaign,

Scottish Milk Marketing Board and

The Lyceum Theatre.  Inspired by a diversity of  

visual stimuli, many of her prints are influenced

by past travels in India, China, Japan and Hong Kong.

Her work has been exhibited at the Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts, 

Visual Arts Scotland and The Royal Scottish Academy exhibitions.  

She has a B.A.Hons from Dundee University, and is

a member of Edinburgh Print Makers Workshop

specialising in Toyobo photopolymer,

copperplate etching and screen printing.
